The brand belonged to the company João Joaquim Henriques Limitada, founded in 1960. That same year, its owner acquired the company António Eduardo Henriques Limitada and changed the original name to António Eduardo Henriques Sucessores Limitada, bringing in three new partners: Alberto Jardim, Carlos Nunes Pereira and Peter Cossart.
In 1981, the company was merged into the Henriques & Henriques group.
