The history of Henriques & Henriques dates back to 1850 when the company was founded by Joรฃo Gonรงalves Henriques, a descendant of a family that had settled in Cรขmara de Lobos many years before. After his death in 1912, his sons Joรฃo Joaquim and Francisco Eduardo Henriques entered into a partnership, which gave rise to the name “Henriques & Henriques”.

Henriques & Henriques, S.A. is one of Madeira’s most prestigious wine producers, with over 160 years of tradition. “Our wines” reflect the island’s rich heritage and winemaking excellence, offering a wide range of options, from dry to sweet. Produced from traditional grape varieties such as Sercial, Verdelho, Bual and Malvasia, our wines are known for their complexity, balance and ageing capacity. Each bottle expresses Madeira’s unique terroir, with rich flavors and a striking freshness, celebrating the authenticity and tradition of this historic wine region.
